Hello,
I am very happy and proud to announce that my friend
Henryk SP6GWN made
first ever in SP 6cm EME qso last weekend.
On Sunday he finally was able to contact Philippe F2TU.
Equipment used by Henryk:
- 2.7m dish 0,37f/D
- RA3AQ feed scaled from 23cm version
- PA 12W (11W in feed)
- LNA 1,3dB

Day earlier he was trying with OK1KIR, both stations was
hearing each
other, but qso could not be completed.
Henryk heard also ZM2TV on SSB and other stations on CW,
but was not
able to identify them.
He reports to have many difficulties with tracking and
hope to be qrv
again in July with better rotor.
It is also worth mentioning that he was also the first
SP station that
made EME qsos on 23cm and 13cm bands.

Hello,
This year I was very happy to participate on 3 bands:
2m, 70cm and 23cm. Together with my son Maciek SP7MC we
made a multioperator effort.
I was going also to participate on 13cm for the first
time, butunfortunatelly I had no time to complete setup
for this band. As always I had a lot of maintanance work
in the station after winter as well as new projects.
One of them was a new SSPA for 23cm based on 10 x BLV958
that I finished just 2 days before contest. I did not
manage to complete driver PA and of course I wanted to
test it safely, so I was running on reducted power
to on 300-350W only. Whole equipmenent and PA was
mounted behind the dish and worked FB, so I hope to run
full power next time!
Declination was low and unfortunatelly during some hours
of my window dish was even 30% blocked by buildings. I
really decreased my performance for some time.
Summary of results on 3 bands:
2m - 35qso (16x8elYagi/GS35b)
70cm - 15qso (4x25elYagi/400W)
23cm - 42qso (3m dish/300W at feed)
It shows again that 3m dish occured to be more qso
productive on 23cm
than 16 yagi array on 2m.

I heard more stations that I could work, but they were
not calling cq and also not answering mine. All in all
great contest and I am really satisfied with our result.

Georg, DF1SR and Kasimir, DL2SBY will be active from
Liechtenstein between April 24th and May 5th. Activity
will be take place on 13cm and 23cm using EME and also
on HF bands using CW, SSB and RTTY.

DL2SBY and DF1SR (ex
DD0SB), plan to go to Liechtenstein and be active via
EME on the 23cm + 13cm Band.
Freq for 23cm Band : 1296,080 Freq for 13cm
Band : 2320,080 (sorry, no crossband) The
trip will be on 5th till 12th of May 2008
QTH will be on 1200 m a.s.l., grid JN47. On
23cm Band, they will take part in the EU- EME
contest (11-12 of May) If you want to work
them on 13cm, please send an email for sekds ! They will
be QRV on this Band on 6th till 11th of May.

46. Tagung des polnischen
Klubs der Ultrakurzwellen-Amateure
PK-UKF
Bereits am 7. bis 9.
September 2007 hat die 46. Tagung des polnischen Klubs
der Ultrakurzwelle-Amateure PK-UKF (SP VHF C) in
Goluchow (JO81XU) stattgefunden.
An diesen Treffen haben mehr als einhundert Amateure und
teilweise dessen
Angehörige teilgenommen.
Viele konnten die
Gelegenheit des Treffens wahrnehmen, um einen Kurzurlaub
zu genießen.
Während die Club-Mitglieder mit dem Offiziellen Teil
der Tagung beschäftigt waren, nutzten einige Begleiter
die Zeit um die herrlich gelegene Kleinstadt Goluchow zu
erkunden. Einer
der sehenswerten Orte der Kleinstadt
ist der ca. 50 ha. großer See mit anliegendem
Schloss aus der zweiten Hälfte des 16. Jahrhundert.
Dieser ist umgeben von riesigen herrschaftlichen Park,
welcher bei den interessierten Besuchern keine
Langeweile aufkommen lasen hat. ( mehr zum Thema:

Das von Zenek
SP3JBI im Freizeitpark von Goluchow
organisierte Treffen, hat für jeden Teilnehmer
und Besucher das richtige geboten. Für das leibliche
Wohl würde ebenfalls bestens gesorgt, aber selbst der
riesige Grill und die Reichlich gefüllten Bierfässer,
konnten die Eingefleischten nicht von dem beliebtesten
Gesprächthema (natürlich dem UKW-Sport) ablenken.
Bereits im Vorfeld
hatte sich herumgesprochen, dass einige Tage zuvor die
letzte Ausbaustufe der Baken in Jarocin montiert wurde.
Der 20 Meter hohe Mast ist nun komplett und Die 24
GHz-Bake SR3KHR arbeiten nun mit einer Leistung von
800mW. Es wurden daher einige der 24GHz
Portabel-Stationen mitgebracht. Um die Bake jedoch hören
zu können, war es nötig kleine Ausflüge in etwas höher
gelegene Standorte vorzunehmen. Alles zusammen hat es,
trotz teilweise schlechten Wetters, richtig Spaß
gemacht. Zum Schluss der Veranstaltung haben sich einige
Teilnehmer die Mühe gemacht und den 40 Km entfernten
Baken-Standort anzuschauen.
Es war ein rundum
gelungenes Treffen, Was sich immer wieder zu besuchen
lohnt.

Aktivitäts-Bericht
aus Jarocin nähe Poznan (Posen) JO81SX. Ein
Teamwork von SP3WYP und DJ6EP
Neue Mikrowellen-Baken in SP!
Nach Monate lange Arbeit, war es endlich so weit.
Am 16. Juli um 17:00 UTC
haben wir die ersten SP Baken auf den Bändern
1,5 cm und 6 cm in Betrieb genommen. Gleichzeitig ist
die bereits 2001 erstellte Bake auf 10 GHz durch ein
neues, moderneres Gerät ersetzt worden.
So arbeitet nun in Jarocin ein Baken-Set, welches
bereits jetzt, nach wenigen Tagen Betrieb viel Anlass
zur Freude bereitet. Trotz mäßiger
Ausbreitungsbedingungen bekamen wir von mehreren
Stationen im Umkreiß von 200km
sehr guten Hörbarkeits-Berichte.

Die noch recht
schwache 24GHz-Bake bekommt in nächsten Wochen einen
entsprechenden Leistungsverstärker, der etwa 15dB mehr
Output produzieren wird.
Mein besonderer Dank gilt dem Staszek SP3DRT, der uns
unermüdlich beim Erbauen des 20 Meter hohen Turmes
unterstützt hat.

"Microwave workshops"
After hearing a forecast of sunny weather for
Friday 30th of March, we (SP2DDX and SP2SGL)
decided to make some test in the open-air. We went
to Dabrowka Nowa, the village near
Bydgoszcz.
Broad flat terrain with high radar stations in the
abandoned military base is perfectly suited
for researches. After unpacking we started testing
feeds, antennas and cables. Unfortunately my home
beacon was completely useless as a signal
source. Small distance (about 3 km) and 2W power
from 48 cm Prokom antenna assured excellent
reception without connecting antenna to trv.
After attaching feed, s-meter was driven to the
level of 9 +60dB,even though there was
suppressor included in the input circuit of IC 706.
In such circumstances we made antenna looking
towards Czluchow
(JO83QP). Despite of midday hours, sunny weather
and 61 km distance we managed to receive
SR1XHX beacon with report from 419 to 529
and slow qsb.
We were testing two feeds. First one was home-made
device equipped with tuning circuit. Second
one was modified LNB from tv-sat box. We used 90
cm parabolic antenna with hyperbolic
reflector and 60 cm offset antenna. We also tested
usefulness of some microwave feeders, bought on
ham radiosecond hand market.
The whole day and conducted test were very
successful. We came to some interesting
conclusions, that will be very useful for
constructing new antennas installations. We are
going to test them during the next researches.
